BSA Scout Troop 761 based in Thousand Oaks, Ca was founded over fifty years ago and is proud to have had so many Scouts achieve the rank of Eagle.
Troop 761 benefits from strong parent involvement to help guide the learning, adventure and advancement of our Scouts.
Troop 761 is a dynamic Boy Scout Troop that engages our Scouts in a wide variety of activities, including Summer Camps, Camporee, White Water Rafting, Hiking, Camping, Rock Climbing, Fishing, Bicycling, Rocketry, Community Outreach and many more.
Some of the great Camps that we attend are Camp Whitsett, Camp Fiesta Island, Camp Emerald Bay, Camp Three Falls and Philmont Scout Ranch.
One of the goals of Troop 761 is to have every Scout achieve the rank of First Class. The First Class rank provides each Scout with incredibly useful life skills. To help our Scouts along Troop 761 has a monthly Trail to First Class course to guide our Scouts toward this achievement.
